Ring Size Measurement Guide

One of the trickiest parts of buying rings online is choosing the right size!

You may find a ring you love and want to purchase, only to discover that different retailers use different ring sizing systems. So, how can you measure your ring size accurately?

Don't worry! Here are a few simple step-by-step guides using everyday tools to help you measure your ring size at home, so you can shop with confidence and find the perfect fit.

Method 1: Measure an Existing Ring

Place your ring flat on a ruler or caliper and measure the inner diameter in a straight line, in millimetres (mm). Be sure to measure only the inside of the ring, excluding the surrounding metal band.

Method 2: Measure Your Finger Circumference Using a Strip of Paper or Non-Stretchable String

Step 1: Wrap Around Your Finger

Cut a thin strip of paper or a piece of non-stretchable string. Wrap it around the widest part of the finger on which you intend to wear the ring. If your knuckle is wider than the base of your finger, be sure to measure around the widest part of your knuckle.

Step 2: Mark the Overlapping Point

Use a pen to mark the point where the ends of the paper strip or string overlap.

Step 3: Measure the Length

Unwrap and lay the paper strip flat. Use a ruler to measure the length from the starting point to the mark. This is your finger circumference in millimetres (mm). Then, refer to the ring size chart provided by the brand to find your corresponding size.

Best Time to Measure
We recommend measuring your finger in the late afternoon or when the weather is warmer, as fingers tend to swell slightly under these conditions. This helps reduce the risk of choosing a ring that feels too tight.

Choosing the Right Size
If you're unsure between two sizes, we recommend opting for the slightly larger size, as resizing a ring smaller is generally easier than making it larger. For wider-band rings, consider going up by half a size for a more comfortable fit.
